چکیده
In this homework, we reconstruct the 3D structure of an image using the point correspondences obtained by edge detection and NCC measure. There are a series of steps involved to reconstruct the 3D structure which will be discussed in the next section. Algorithm: Although its possible to reconstruct the 3D structure using multiple images, for the sake of simplicity, I am using two images taken using my mobile camera. (a) Estimate the fundamental matrix (F) using the correspondences inputted by the user manually. Let the correspondences be (are the elements of the fundamental matrix. We require 8 or more such correspondences to compute F. We build a matrix A with rows as the left hand elements of above expression for each user inputted correspondence. Note: i. Its required to do some normalization before doing the above step to ensure a better estimate of F for various scales of input image. We find the normalization matrices T 1 , T 2 which transform the points (x i , , x i) to (ˆ x i , ˆ x i). ii. When the points are normalized, after the computation of F, it has to be denormalized. F = T T 2 F T 1 iii. The rank of the Fundamental matrix should be 2 which can be ensured by doing an Singular Value Decomposition and then making the last eigen value zero. F = UDV T (b) Compute the epipoles (e, e) using the Fundamental matrix (F). They are the right and left null vectors of the Fundamental matrix and can be calculated using Singular Value Decomposition.

HOMEWORK EFFORT AND STUDENTS ’ CONSCIENTIOUSNESS 1 Is Doing Your
Research has shown that sustained homework effort enhances academic performance and that students’ conscientiousness is a powerful predictor of students’ homework effort. But does homework—as homework proponents claim—in turn also influence the development of conscientiousness over time? In the present study, we examined whether students’ homework effort in two subjects (i.e., mathematics and l...

The aim of this study was to examine whether student achievement and school location may influence a range of homework management strategies. The participants were 633 rural and urban students in Grade 8. These homework management strategies include: (a) setting an appropriate work environment, (b) managing time, (c) handling distraction, (d) monitoring motivation, and (e) controlling negative ...
متن کاملExamining the validity of the Homework Performance Questionnaire: Multi-informant assessment in elementary and middle school.
Methods for measuring homework performance have been limited primarily to parent reports of homework deficits. The Homework Performance Questionnaire (HPQ) was developed to assess the homework functioning of students in Grades 1 to 8 from the perspective of both teachers and parents. The purpose of this study was to examine the factorial validity of teacher and parent versions of this scale, an...

BACKGROUND The goal of this research was to study the weight of student variables related to homework (intrinsic homework motivation, perceived homework instrumentality, homework attitude, time spent on homework, and homework time management) and context (teacher feedback on homework and parental homework support) in the prediction of approaches to homework. METHOD 535 students of the last th...

BACKGROUND The majority of mental health clinicians report the use of homework to support their case management, but practitioner surveys indicate that homework is not routinely used. AIMS To examine barriers that mental health case managers experience in implementing homework and to identify strategies to promote successful homework administration. METHOD One hundred thirty-four surveys we...
